Winning Eleven 2012 J.League Pack Available For Download


Konami has released its annual J.League update for the PlayStation 3 version of Winning Eleven 2012. The update has the J.League license and includes all J1 and J2 clubs, over 1,000 J.League players, and a J.League Mode which simulates the J.League season. Players can build their own Japanese national team.

The update, released yesterday, is available for ¥1,800. The update's player data is current through December 2, 2011. Konami will be providing a free patch in late April that adds 2012 data.

G.Rev Readying PlayStation Vita Version of Senko no Ronde


G.Rev held its latest streaming web event today. While 3DS shooter Kokuga was one of the main focuses of the event, the studio also announced PlayStation Vita support. Its first game will be a new entry in the Senko no Ronde shooting series, with plans for a release in 2013.

In comments shared with the press after the broadcast, director Hiroyuki Maruyama said that today's announcement was just notice that they've decided to develop the game. They're currently at the planning level. However, the framework for the game has been mostly finalized.

Maruyama believes the final product will end up being greatly different from past entries in the series. He even said that they may end up not using the Senko no Ronde name.

Square Enix Announces Final Fantasy XIII-2 Download Content


Today, Square Enix shared details on the general download content that will be available to all.

The following items are currently set to be offered for download following the game's release on December 15:
- Boss Monster Omega
Beat him, and you can make him into one of your monster allies.
- Noel Costume
An original costume for Noel
- Serah Costume
An original costume for Serah

In its announcement today, Square Enix noted that these items are meant for Japan. Their fate outside of Japan is currently undecided. Also, they represent just a portion of the planned DLC. Other items will be released as well.

Square Enix did not share pricing or exact release dates for the DLC. (andriasang)

COD Modern Warfare 3 Japanese Version Date Set

Call of Dutty Modern Warfare 3

Square Enix has set a release date of December 22 for the Japanese dubbed version of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. Both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will be released on December 22, priced ¥7,980.

Like Call of Duty BLack Ops, Modern Warfare 3 will be released in both Japanese dubbed and subtitle versions. The subtitled version's date was previously announced for November 17. (andriasang)

Nintendo Opened The Official Site for Kirby Wii

There's not much content yet, but there are lots of things that.


The site highlights the following points about the game:

- It's side scrolling and can be played by anyone
- Up to four players can play together simultaneously
- Kirby has powerful super abilities this time
- Kirby and friends are out to fix a space ship that fell from the sky

Kirby Wii (Kirby’s Return to Dream Land, Wii) is a Kirby game for the Wii.
The game introduces several new Copy Abilities, and the abilities now have powered-up versions called Super Abilities, which are acquired from inhaling large versions of enemies glowing with a starry aura. When used, the game is paused for everyone except Kirby, and the super abilities hit most parts of the screen. They can destroy parts of the environment marked with a certain star pattern which are otherwise indestructible. Super Abilities have an unlimited number of uses, but only last for a limited time, as indicated by a rainbow-colored bar with a star below Kirby.

Apple iOS version of the Metal Gear Solid franchise in Metal Gear Solid Touch is currently being offered at its lowest price ever, with the complete game currently being offered for $0.99. The game is regularly priced at $7.99 and has also been recently updated to address accelerometer control issues in the iPhone 4 and 4th gen iPod Touch.
